Which moments stay with us as others fade?

16 year old Amelia has not always seen eye to eye with her mother, Heather, and, as the years have slipped by, the distance between them has grown. But there’s no more time for disagreements. Heather has stage IV breast cancer and little time left.

Which is why Heather is taking Amelia to Rome to relive her fondest vacation and share the joys of the Roman hillsides with her daughter. It will be a special time to wander through ruins, eat pasta and forge memories to last a lifetime. But when Amelia meets a boy in the village and sparks fly, the planned trip takes a left turn.
